I intended on this week being a step-back week but not a forced one.  I ended up getting the side of my foot kick pretty good playing indoor soccer Saturday night.  I don't believe I did any structural damage to it, but my foot is sore and swollen.  BTW Vibrams are a great shoe for swollen feet.  I will be taking the next couple of days off depending on how my foot feels.  Hopefully all will be well for the Riverton 5k on Saturday.

Do you ever run the hill on Juniper Crest?

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Nov 17, 2010 at 10:25:07 from 67.136.62.186

I have only ran down that one (and that is brutal enough). That would make one heck of hill repeat workout.

Nice to see another local Herriman/Riverton runner on the blog! That hill up to Juniper Crest is a good one either way you take it!

Good luck with the foot, I'm considering that 5K - maybe I'll see you there. I'll look for the tall skinny guy. I'll be the tall girl, skinny would be debatable for me right now.

Hope to see you there. I will be wearing orange.

Are you still off? Get well.

I am finally giving it a go tonight. I managed to injure my left big toe a week ago Saturday (playing soccer of course - at least it is not my running mechanics or over training that it causing my injuries - yet). I am ready mentally to sink into this winter and get my build-up phase going again.
